The night before my scheduled section with my second I walked out of my first born’s room after putting him to bed and burst into tears. I had so many feelings about him not being an only child anymore and maybe we were ruining his life. Hormones are terrible!

I'll be honest going 0-1 was what I found hard. 2nd time round I found so much easier. I recovered better and my 2nd baby was a dream. She did exactly what she needed too. My first and eldest baby is adorable (I love him) but he was an absolute jerk as a baby. He grew out of it thankfully! 🙈 Good luck enjoy what you can 💜

I felt the same as you, I had a rough time having my first. I nearly lost my life it was just a whole thing. Anyway my experience second time round was a doddle. My birth was better, I had a section which went better second time round, obv it still hurts but nothing compared to my first one. I felt I could do everything, I felt mentally better. The only difference is there’s no rest when baby rests as you have another child so you are always on the go, but you are already used to doing it. It just falls into place that way. You already know how to be a mum you’ve done it. If ever I did struggle being exhausted, I would just look at my babies and think -there are people out there who would give their right arm to be as tired as I am right now being able to love and care for these babies as they can’t have there own, and that gave me the little boost to keep going, I knew I was blessed I really felt it ❤️and I don’t mean that to sound like it’s not okay to say it’s hard or it’s a struggle sometimes we all know parenting is, I just mean I would take that as my boost and smile about it 🥰🥰🥰

I think you’ll do really well. Rhodie is already potty trained which makes it immensely easier. The second you feel like it is getting too much though ( if it happens) reach out to someone take the meds and do the therapy! And let big brother help!

Just enjoy all the moments before baby comes. It’s the last time you will have just him, both your worlds are about to be completely altered…in the best way possible. You adjust so much faster. I had 3 in less than 4 years, you’ve got this beautiful mama, don’t over think it.
