@trackandtrailcanine: 1: choose a comfortable, non-restrictive harness (this is ALL I sell) with two attachment points 2: get a double ended lead - preferably strength tested and adjustable (I use the Twiggy Tgas multiway - outstanding) 3: clip onto the back AND front of the harness 4: The main point of pressure should always be on the back 5: use the front attachment to give your correction. Squeeze and release - do dot keep this tight or tense. 6: BE CONSISTENT. If you want to teach your dog something then you have to be consistent with it. Be clear with your corrections, rewards and expectations. 7: if multiple people walk your dog - they all need to be on the same page!
