As a mother of three teenage boys, this is just a stage. Keep loving him. They push you away as they find their place in this world but they will come back to you if you keep letting them know you are consistently there and loving them no matter what. You are doing great. There will be good days and bad. You are in such a busy time - it’s exhausting.

Kids say hate but only because they have a limited vocabulary. See beyond to his dis regulation. He’s frustrated that’s all. Just validate his feelings and don’t take them personally. He needs you to be the adult. Eg. I know honey. You feel angry.
