That's the same idea that children understand consequences. They don't. That's why obedience is so important, because children don't have a full grasp of how bad things could go. And we're always referred to as His CHILDREN, not His young adults, not His grown children, no leveling up here folks. 😂 We are children of the Lord and therefore, we listen because He knows what we don't. And I'm so thankful that He has me!!!

If you read Book of Genesis, God gave the command to Adam before Eve was even created. Then in Genesis 3:6, it says Adam was with her when she ate the fruit. Not to mention, they didn’t even know the difference between good and evil yet—they didn’t fully understand what that looked like. I believe they ate out of a desire to understand it (temptation), which ultimately led to disobedience. I also believe God gave us free will because otherwise He would be a dictator. And when someone is a dictator, people follow out of fear—not love. That’s why many say love is a choice, not just a feeling. God is the epitome of unconditional love without forcing control over us. That’s exactly why He gave us free will. I also believe that sometimes a person’s biggest sin can become their breakthrough in seeking God. It’s part of why He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to pay for our sins—because He wanted a real relationship with us. So when people ask, “Why would God put the tree there if He knew we would fail?”—to me, it comes down to this: love without choice isn’t loyalty, it’s control. God wanted a relationship, not forced obedience. And in a way, the fall allowed His grace, mercy, and love to be revealed much deeper meaningful way—so deeply that it makes you stop and think, wow… He’s real, because I didn’t deserve that kind of love. To add to that, I don’t think you can gain true wisdom without some level of suffering. Their desire to understand good and evil came with a cost—they had to experience it to fully know it. 👀 Like I said, that’s just my perspective. That’s also why I value having a relationship with God so much. He is so good. Yes, He may allow us to go through suffering, but without it, we’d remain blissfully ignorant—honestly, like I once was. Now I see it differently: the pain teaches, the struggle refines, and it all draws you closer to Him.

It’s like a parent telling their child to not touch something hot. The child doesn’t know it’s hot but the parents do. The child must listen to the parents so it doesn’t get hurt. OBEDIENCE!!!

Sometimes I use her videos to remind me to read my Bible because I forget to read my Bible some days when I’m really tired today is one of those days and it’s only currently 6:36 AM. I have to be at a doctors appointment soon, but I did say to myself that I would use this video as a reminder when I get home to read my Bible💕 thank you Nina always

typically I love these videos, but I have one counterpoint for this one - my parents told me WHY touching the hot stove was bad. blind obedience isn't typically a good thing, I feel like god couldve at least said "listen if you eat that bad things will happen and you are much safer if you dont" or smth
