will work but with the gate pinned to 1.5v that's the limit of the signal swing before distortion. it's better to bias the gate with a voltage divider formed by a 1m pull down resistor from gate to ground and a 1m feedback resistor between the collector and the gate. that way your gate bias is automatically in the center of the potential voltage swing, with the added advantage that the circuit is much less sensitive to supply voltage. also a miller capacitor in parallel with the feedback resistor will filter out RF noise and prevent oscillation
