@dailymailuk: Zookeepers made the heartbreaking decision to put down two “inseparable” animal best friends on the same day - so neither would be left alone. Al, a 20-year-old Brazilian tapir, and Johnson, a nine-year-old capybara, had formed a close bond after living together for nearly a decade at Newquay Zoo in Cornwall. Both had been suffering from age-related health issues, with vets deciding euthanasia was the kindest option. Keepers said saying goodbye at the same time would spare either animal from distress or loneliness. #dailymail #news #uk

If anything, when you see this realize that all animals have the same capabilities as human beings. They can love each other. They can feel the sun on their faces, and they can make lifelong friendships. Treat them better.
