Once in my life, I’ve missed a flight *completely my own fault*. I calmly and politely spoke to the people at the desk to work out what I needed to do to get onto another flight and they were so kind and helpful. Always treat people with respect and take your accountability for your own mistake. You’ll be surprised how far it will get you!

Even if I can do something about it, if you’re rude to me I won’t help. Be polite and respectful and accept your mistakes and if it’s within my power I’ll try and help you because I want to. When someone is rude and disrespectful when it was their error, I’m not going out my way to help

years ago no one checked in. they paid for tickets went to the airport and went to the desks. nowadays u have to checkin atleast 24 48 hours b4 u fly and if u dont check in even though u paid for a ticket to fly out airlines sell extra seats and its basically first come first served at that point. this needs to change as if a person camt fly out they cant give there seat to another person therefor the same rule should apply to airlines. too much profiteering for airlines and none for customers

EasyJet sends you a email to remind you to check in, they also advise you to download the easyjet app so you can check in there or where the check in desk is.

there is litteraly two limit times written on the plane ticket and a warning that indicate you mustn’t miss these limits

Interesting. So apparently she'd gone to the UK by train, and then needed to fly back for an emergency. It was her first time flying by herself. There's plenty of documentation with your reservation to tell you what you need to do, where and when, but because it was an emergency, she didn't read it very thoroughly. It happens.

on my first ever holiday abroad at 18 with my boyf, i didnt know what to do. didnt realise we shouldve been at a gate. we only realised when our actual names were announced requesting our immediate presence at the gate 😅 we apologised profusley. you live you learn.
