Dear Michael Jackson, Since I was a little kid, I’ve always loved your music. Your voice, your energy, your kindness, and the way you made people feel through your songs always touched my heart in a way I can’t fully explain. I remember when I was 8 years old, me and my mom stayed up until almost 3 in the morning when we heard on the radio that you had passed away. I cried so much that night. Even though I never got the chance to grow up during your era or meet you in real life, your music still became a huge part of my life. Your songs helped me through emotions and moments I didn’t even know how to put into words. When I felt sad, lonely, overwhelmed, or misunderstood, your music gave me comfort. It felt like you understood people deeply through your art. And honestly… I was madly in love with you too lol. Not just because you were talented, but because there was something so special and magical about your spirit. You made people feel seen, loved, and alive. Now I have kids of my own, and my daughters love your music so much too. Watching a whole new generation connect to you the same way I did honestly feels beautiful and emotional. Your music really is timeless. Personally, I always admired your transition from the Bad era into the Dangerous and Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix eras. No matter what the tabloids or the world tried to throw at you, you kept pushing forward. You stayed strong, ignored so much negativity, and responded through your music instead of letting bitterness consume you. That strength always stood out to me. We miss you so much. Especially the generation born from the 1990s to early 2000s that never got the chance to see you in person or truly grow up with you the way our parents did. A lot of us only got pieces of you through videos, performances, interviews, and stories, but somehow you still managed to leave such a huge impact on our lives. Personally, my favorite song from you has always been Will You Be There. I had the Free Willy 1 & 2 movies growing up, but I used to keep replaying them just to hear that song. It would make me cry every time. There was something about it that felt so emotional and pure, like it carried a message that stayed with me. Even though you’re gone, your legacy still lives on every single day through your music and the millions of hearts you touched, including mine. Thank you for giving the world pieces of yourself that still heal people years later. With love always, Amira #michaeljackson #michaelmovie #kingofpop #mj #fyp
