He earned the name ‘the Impaler’ for his method of executing enemies by impalement. He fought against the Ottoman Empire, where many Muslims were among his enemies in war. However, his cruelty was not limited to one group he also punished and killed his own people, including innocent Christians and nobles. His rule was marked by fear, strict control, and harsh justice. To some, he was a defender of his land; to others, a symbol of terror and cruelty.
