The acceleration on this book was insane. There's like two pages of filling in the circles to show different fractions and then the next is adding fractions. It is really bad because the circles are pre-portioned. So if they want you to fill in 1/2. The circle itself is also split into two pieces. if they want you to fill in 3/4. The circle is alread split into 4. So they go from a very limited basic understand of what fractions are, right into adding them. They don't even habe the scaffolding of not pre-portioning the circles and having you kid figure out first how to divide a circle into four equal parts and then sharing in the 3/4. I would not recommend this book for someone who is confused about fractions. It's good practice if your child already has a grasp, but just needs more practice.
