@brittneyandzion: Anybody know where I can get a guide dog for a tiger? Zion has an eye condition called pannus. There is no cure and he has vision loss but he can see well enough to follow me when I walk in front of him. 🥰 He navigates his familiar habitat well on his own but a seeing eye dog would be a big help when I have work to do, lmk

My golden retriever has pannus as well. She can still see and loves to lay in the sun, loves water and is motivated by treats. She volunteers.

Okay but…I mean I know they’re INCREDIBLY different species but cheetahs get emotional support dogs. Would a seeing eye dog be an option for companionship for a blind tiger? I’m genuinely asking if that is something that could be considered if his sight goes completely or would he just have the other tigers there with him?
