@TheNiceGuide No matter what you need to follow the rules, and no its not acceptable to just say "we didn't know", ignorance is not a way out. its 4:45am, you have been noisy all night despite being asked twice to please bring it down a notch, despite being told that in Ontario Parks there is a rule that says to be quiet after 10, and then after all this to be woken up from the noise of breaking branches and small trees that you have decided to burn because you didn't get firewood like everyone else dose is the straw that broke the camels back. to all Canadian newcomers, if you are coming here to make a better life, then please start by following the rules, both the written ones and the not written ones too, its your responsibility to learn these, and if that is to hard to do just look around, use common sense. if you dont see anyone else taking fish from the river when the spawning is happening its because maybe you shouldn't do it. if you dont see anyone else pooping at the beach its because maybe you shouldn't. if you dont see other people littering its because you shouldn't do it. if you dont see anyone else being loud when you are at a provincial park its probably because you shouldn't. if you are at the beach and no one else is staring at the woman there, its because you shouldn't. and I could go on and on.... bottom line is im a imigrant too and it makes me really upset to see other immigrants taking for granted what makes Canada an amazing place to be. as immigrants we should integrate as seamlessly as posible to the place we have decided to move too, theres a reason you left home to come here, then why try to turn this place into where you came from? oh and on a side note, I find it dangerous that Ontario Parks has no park ranger on duty at night, there has to be an authority available to deal with these situations. we called the park office number and a automatic response says to call 911 if its an emergency. people being noisy or cutting down the bush probably wont count as police intervention worthy event, but for sure it would be a Park worthy event to be dealt with. #ontarioparks #ontarioprovincialparks #canadaindians #dontdoit #pineryprovincialpark
