I want to ask some tips. should I dry my roots first if they are straight? cuz i’ve noticed that they’re always straight on wash days but somehow they become curly after doing refresh(also my hair looks a lot better when I spray it with water again and scrunch)and I don’t know what causes that, but on my wash days they’re also super flat but again after refresh they get more voluminous. that’s so weird cuz people wait wash days to get beautiful curls and mine(2C-3A) look good right after styling and so curly but after diffusing it’s all just flat and not as defined as it was😭

My 2 yo girl got my curls, though hers are much shinier and a bit tighter (I’d say a soft finish). Currently not really using products on her, just combing through it when her shampoo is lathered with a wooden comb. Refreshing just with a water spray bottle like yours (pray hands+scrunch). I know you don’t like water refreshes—but with a small child, is that kind of refreshing damaging her hair?
