@veritaschoolgr: What begins as a student idea can grow into something that shapes a whole community. During their visit to the Municipality of Alimos, our students spoke up for a more sustainable school environment, advocating for additional recycling bins on campus. Their initiative was met with immediate support, and with it came a meaningful reminder: when young people are invited to participate in the life of their community, their voices matter. Back at school, that conversation quickly became action. At Verita, global citizenship is lived through moments like these, when students learn that caring for the world around them starts close to home, through responsibility, collaboration, and the courage to take initiative. Small actions may seem simple, but over time, they help shape more thoughtful habits, stronger communities, and a deeper sense of belonging to something bigger than oneself.
