@streetheartstx: We rescued Skyler three weeks ago and she has already made so much progress. She’s still a little unsure of strangers but every day we’re seeing more of her sweet personality come out. I adore this big, gentle girl! 😍 The vet started Skyler on antibiotics and pain medication for her injured foot. If it didn’t improve, the next step was to amputate the affected toe. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem to bother her anymore and she’s using it without any issues. I’m hopeful we can avoid the additional surgery and only proceed with her spay surgery this week.
