Great tutorial. An old trick for tick marks on anything, especially in woodworking, toss in little shapes every so often, little circles and squares, or asymmetrical triangles and rectangles. Less important on tape, but you get faster visual distinction between pieces, and directional alignment on the asymmetrical shapes.

I don’t know if I should line my fursuit or not because my friend says it makes it warmer and that I shouldn’t do it but I hate feeling foam on my face and balaclavas are annoying
