As an Albanian it is totally normal to sit in a Café for 2 hours with only an espresso and a water but we also smoke a pack in that time whilst on the phone or talking to others

Never happened to me. I usually went to work on my laptop in the cafes in France, Spain and UK. Got the cheapest thing, like water and was there the whole day 😂. All the time, no one ever asked me to leave 😂. Sometimes I just like to sit, relax, watch the world go by. So nice. I only started that over 30 though. I hadn't done that before. I told a French friend that I don't drink coffee ever so I cannot do that. And he said why not? Get something and sit there water anything. And enjoy the feeling. And boy he was right 🥰 so relaxing

Sorry but the correct spelling is Expresso! It means a "quick" coffee and is typically ordered by businessmen in a hurry on their way to their offices.

The tourist next to my table at a restaurant in Rome had this exact situation, but 90% of the tables were empty, he asked beforehand if he could sit just to have a coffee and was there for only 20-30 min 😂😂😂
