@channel4served: @georgiahughesfood has put a twist on a classic lasagne by fusing it with a Chinese takeway staple; hoisin duck pancakes Serves 4 Total time: 1hr 30 mins Ingredients 1 red onion, finely sliced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 knob of ginger, grated 1 seasoned crispy duck (approx 800g) 1 tbsp tomato paste 1 tsp chinese five spice 4 spring onions, chopped (whites and greens separated) 400ml chicken stock 50ml hoisin sauce 1 tin chopped tomatoes 8 lasagne sheets For serving: Sprinkle of spring onion greens 50ml hoisin sauce Sliced cucumber Method: 1. Preheat oven to 220°C. Cook duck (800g) according to packet instructions until crispy, then shred and set aside 2. Reduce oven to 200°C 3. Cook red onion (1, sliced) in a little oil for 5–7 minutes until soft 4. Add garlic (2 cloves), ginger (1 knob, grated) and spring onion whites (from 4 spring onions) and cook for 1–2 minutes 5. Stir in tomato paste (1 tbsp) and five spice (1 tsp) and cook for 2 minutes 6. Add chopped tomatoes (1 tin), stock (400ml), hoisin sauce (50ml) and shredded duck. Simmer for 5–10 minutes 7. Layer the sauce and lasagne sheets (8) in a baking dish. Top with hoisin (50ml) and spring onion greens, then bake for 25 minutes 8. Serve with sliced cucumber salad lasagne, hoisin, duck, Itailian, Chinese, fusion dishes, takeaway dish, duck lasagna, duck recipe, easy lasagne
