Do you think it's the same demand in America?

The most common path to Cloud Security Engineer is starting in IT or a SOC role (like Help Desk, Systems Admin, or SOC Analyst), then moving into a security or cloud-focused role such as Security Analyst, Cloud Engineer, or DevSecOps. From there, you transition into Cloud Security Engineer by gaining hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), IAM, and security tooling. Cloud security is not an entry level role.

What happened to hiring and training... I don't get the culture these days of looking for already-made talent, someone trained those, hire and train yours

They want a cloud security engineer with 4-5 years experience it's not that they aren't there get young security engineers who have certs in cloud and are willing to put in a proper decade into the field

I would like to know where you can find an entry level cloud security jobs without having soc or IT experience. It’s almost doesn’t exist.

I've been trying to focus on SOC first to get a lil bit of experience in Cyber Security because all the advice and content I've been getting suggests that cloud security has no entry level roles. They say you need experience elsewhere first. Thank you for this, will check out the roadmap for cloud security

Love seeing this structured roadmaps genuinely change how fast people progress. We made one for cloud engineering that has everything linked (resources, tools, milestones) so you’re never left Googling what to do next. It also builds your portfolio as you go. It’s divided into 3 phases, and Phase 1 is currently completely free that’s the foundation where you learn Python, get your first project, and earn certifications before moving forward. Full roadmap is $35 .
