This is compulsion training. It lacks clarity. There is still obvious conflict in the dog as he walks over and away from the resource (stress lick, whale eye, pace change). This is suppression, not modification of behavior. The dog has learned to avoid the leash correction when it hears “leave it”. It does not change the fact the dog still wants the bone. The moment that leash is removed someone is going to be seriously injured.

How do you train one to not search for food constantly. Will get stuff off the counter, will steel food from other dog. Just terrible acts like she is starving to death all the time.
