when I was in my 20s I asked to be tested for adhd and my doctor said that I have the marks of it but since I don't get in trouble with the highs like going into debt or being reckless that I just have depression and anxiety. I still think I have it or some other mental issue but I keep forgetting to ask my new doctor to get me tested again.

Postpartum for me! I joke that tiktok diagnosed me before the doc did. Took my first Adderall and then took the best nap. Two hours later I woke up and was a productive member of society. Thank you so much for your videos!

I’m on estrogen patch and progesterone pill - complete lifesaver for my ADHD and anxiety. I’m 40 and a therapist - literally emailed my doc recent journal articles saying I need meds!

Yes. I didn’t get diagnosed with autism and adhd until I was 40, and the only reason I pursued that diagnosis is because all my executive functions decided to leave in my late 30s. 😅😭🫠

I didn't figure it out until my son was struggling and wanted to find out if he might have adhd. I sat in on his appointment. The phsyc NP looked at me as I was wiggling my foot the entire time. Answering the same questions/responses in my head and jumped in on a few questions. He said a lot of times ADHD is hereditary 😳. I went in a week later for my evaluation. Had no idea all those thoughts and feelings of rejection, my entire life. had to do with MY ADHD 🤯
