I have been with a man over a year and a half. We are both 56 and exclusive. We are still not sexually intimate because he not doesn’t want to rush like he did in his past. Fine. But I have to always ask for hugs or affection. I find I am craving to be cuddled, caressed or hugged. His dog gets much more affection and touch than me and I feel hurt he does not think to put his hand on my skin to comfort, to show desire 😭. When I told him I felt we were only platonic cause of this, he says it’s not. He loves me and always wants me around. He just is not in a rush but in time ‘we will get there’.
