As the series progresses, her peaceful world begins to unravel, revealing unsettling inconsistencies and a deeper, disturbing truth behind her existence. The anime is known for its strong psychological elements and extreme violence, especially in its later episodes, making it much darker and more graphic than its predecessor, Blood+. The story continues in the sequel film Blood-C: The Last Dark, which concludes the events of the series.
