@dancing.astronaut: 14 years ago we did one of our first interviews with a young up and coming DJ named @Avicii. He was only 21 at the time, still introducing himself as Tim Berg and just as green as we were. Dancing Astronaut was barely a year old. We had no clue what we were doing… but back then none of us did. Watching the interview today hits different. Nostalgic and mournful for what EDM lost. → The name “Avicii” came from a MySpace handle. Every other option was taken. A friend told him about Avīci, the lowest level of Buddhist hell. He thought it sounded cool. Rest easy, Tim.
