I've been feeling really lost lately but after reading Hidden Shifting Techniques By Elira Starfall I feel like I have a sense of direction now, it's like the fog has lifted and I can see my path clearly.

I agree with some of this and the general vibe of what you're saying but it's kind of privileged to insinuate that shifting is nbd or won't save somebody. some people are permashifting because their CR is so hellish or they spent most of their life suffering because of things out of their control. there are people permashifting because they face disability or terminal illness in their CR. there are people who permashifted here because their family members or loved ones were alive in this reality but not in their OR. not everyone treats shifting as a hobby because they just want to have cutesy Hogwarts DRs to drink butterbeer or cuddle with their crush in a marvel DR or things like that. to some people their DR brings deep emotional fulfillment and to some it is a literal matter of life and death. I just don't like when hobby shifters tell permashifters/aspiring permashifters to focus on being happy in their CR because for some people their DR is their last hope. like I've talked to people with cancer who are trying to shift. it's an entirely different perspective. just my opinion, but I respect yours.
