@lilycoy__: i know that sounds dramatic. i do. but there are mornings where i sit in front of the mirror and go through the whole routine… concealer, blush, trying to make my skin look like something other than what it is… and i still just see the freckles. all of them. everywhere 🥹 i’ve never once looked in the mirror and thought “yes. that’s it. that’s pretty.” not once 😔 i don’t say that for sympathy. i say it because i think there are girls out there who know exactly what i mean. who have spent years trying to arrive at the feeling everyone else seems to already have. i’m still trying to get there 🥹🧡
