Bc their was no actual collective actions taken in place with the protest their was no harm done to the system protesting doesn’t make social movement this was just protest this wasn’t a movement like blm and the civil rights movement you are 100% absolutely correct

The protesting they did on weekends was just a party. They did not disrupt anything. The people who had any sway in government were home. They got permits and blocked off roads so that they could walk down the street. Even the police were not concered with them. It was overtime pay for some of them. They can just look at the protest that the climate avengers do. They disrupt the flow of life when they are protesting. Those 'protests' on the weekends for the 'no king' marches were just gatherings, block parties.
