Training is rough girl…. but I’ve been a partner since the beginning of January and I’m already one of the fasted baristas on bar! What helped me a lot funny enough is watching people make drinks on TikTok at home (just make sure it’s actually standard by reading comments lol) and ask ask ask questions on your headset! You’ll get it down 🫰

Girl at least you’re getting TRAINED. I came from target with Starbucks experience because of the Starbucks within the stores I worked at, I was just thrown to the wolves 💔 it’s working out though. They have me on bar a lot and it’s nice

you got this! the first 3 months are rough but by 6 you should start to get comfortable with most positions! Always ask to get bar time when it’s slower like during opens or closing. Especially if your store doesn’t make super high sales 🫶 don’t get intimidated or let the stress get to you, just remember each of your fellow partners were in your shoes before

remember to advocate for wanting to learn other bars or other sections like warming but do get familiar with the register, and remember don't let anyone else use your till!!. 🖤 best of luck queen

CONGRATULATIOOOONS! i promise once you get the hang of the basics of the recipes everything else starts to click. the only thing i will say is that certain things and certain customers will test your patience as a barista LOL, but when it’s not super busy or chaotic it does feel like a game 🙂↕️
