I struggled with breastfeeding and I think because I struggled so much I learned to hate it! BUT because we struggled I was supplementing with formula so now I give her 1-2 bottles a day! I hate BF in public so I don’t and I have hubby do a bottle before bed! I only pump if I’m worried about my supply (like if I gave extra bottles that day or it’s been multiple days in a row near the same time) but I also hate pumping!! I only BF because it’s free & I want her to have the extra gold of it! But I refuse to stress about it anymore!

Breastfeeding is the worst I feel you. I only pump and mix half the bottle with formula. I also find they sleep a little longer with the combo!

I have since birth because of my supply. I’m currently 6 weeks and finally have accepted breastfeeding is just not working for me. I pump and bottle feed. I use half my milk, half formula in each bottle so it’s easier on my guys little tummy

I have combo fed from the start. Best thing ever, I actually enjoy breastfeeding now I combo feed as when I am done with having a baby attached to me I just make a bottle and have some space.

My newborn has been good with formula from day one. I breast feed for most of the feeds and then we give him formula for one feeding and it’s cold formula 🤣 he takes it no issues. I think finding the right bottle will help a lot

i just started combo feeding and it wasn’t by choice but honestly it feels so free. I nurse her and then typically will give her a bottle because she’s still hungry or i pump and do half and half! it might be trial and error tbh!

Combo fed with my first at 9 months because my supply was drying up. She did not take straight formula right away. So we started with 1oz formula 4 oz Breastmilk and titrated it like every week to less breastmilk and more formula until we got to 4oz formula and 1oz breastmilk. we continued that until my milk completely dried up

I don’t pump. I’m an over supplier if I even think about it! We exclusively pumped till 6 weeks and then he started latching and exclusively BF for a few weeks and now we combo feed. I do 1-2 formulas a day - when out particularly and formula dream feed. My boobs just adjusted. I was a bit engorged but nothing that wasn’t resolved his next feed. I also HATE breast feeding 🤣

i absolutely hated it too! i pumped and bottle fed for the first few months, then switched to formula bc even pumping was too much 😭

im combo feeding my fourth and I so wish I did it with the rest!!! its amazing. but I started day one this time around. I would start with a few different bottles and nipples and see what she likes best and go from there. we use Mam with the size 0 nipples. will only use those. good luck!!!

We started out mixing 2 oz formula and 2 oz breastmilk! Now he does 4 oz of straight formula when I want to shower or cook! ❤️I loveee being able to have some freedom but not having to pump!

We give a formula bottle like 4 times a week just when my brain is going to explode or if I’m touched one more time I may pass away. Basically just use it as a fricken break. It’s convenient when I have to be away and she’s starving, my husband can feed her or whoever is watching her!
