but your still contaminating your butter your better off using a cut of butter with a fork to spread so it doesn't contaminate the rest of the butter

I'm from the UK and I've travelled all over Europe, I'd never seen a stick of butter until I visited the US last year 😂 I fear this is a US tip only. 😅
