Mepra isn’t great.. especially their customer service..horrible. Flatware was tarnishing after 1 month..claims dishwasher s are not completely true

I also did Mepra, but the Boheme pattern! Love that they can easily be dressed up for formal place settings and casual all at the same time. 10/10 also recommend registering for the butter knives, cake trowel, serving pieces etc.

If you look on marketplace, you’ll be able to find a set of silver plate for a very little money. I’ve seen sets that have never been used with serving pieces in a beautiful velvet box for $50-$100. It’s crazy but most people don’t enjoy using it. If you’d like to entertain, especially for the holidays, you’ll be glad you have a set.

I’ve had a Reed & Barton set for decades. Love it. Sadly, my kids have all lost my flat word over the years. Teenagers seeming to accidentally threw flat were away. Every few years I replenish my stock. I love this style from my daughter’s upcoming wedding!

My advise - get good everyday flatware ! I got Gorham, melon bud. Mine is 40 years old and looks brand new! It’s worth it ! Get a service for 10
