@monicaefrasier: Dealing with a sick kiddo is never fun, but usually you can manage it at home with a few things! Symptom management is huge with kiddos! As always, always check with your Pediatrician 😊 #sick #sickkids #momtips #fever #cough

I am a first time mom (teacher) and over planner. I had sooo many stuff on hand from my shower and things I bought. My husband teased me. We were lucky that she didnt get sick for the first time until 10 months old. It was such a relief when I called the on call number and they told me everything to do. Even more of a relief when I already had everything on hand!

A lot of good information! I wish I would have known to do the double sheet thing what my kids were babies! Now that my kids are adults but still live at home they can take care of them selves more obviously. However my daughter works for a daycare center and it seems like there’s been alot of things coming home to us. So I started keeping things like applesauce, sprite and disposable paper products (paper plates, paper towels, tissues etc) and disposable gloves on hand. Earlier this year we had the stomach flu go through our family and nothing was worse than having to go to the store to get stuff to take care of all of us especially myself!
