ignoring the actual business side of things, lowkey if everyone is on an equal playing field the only real percentage trade should be that first one because you're giving cash (something universally valued) vs a card.
In the second trade, I think ideally what makes the most sense is, if I have something worth 60$ and you have something worth 60$ we should trade at pretty much equal value. If I want your thing, maybe a bit less on my side so 65$ for 60. That way you're benefitting.
of course I acknowledge, you're a vendor you have costs and things, but if you're at a card shop for example, where they're effectively going to sell the same, I feel like it makes sense for what I'm saying to be the case. I know technically "you're not profiting enough, you're not taking rent into account" this IS a hobby, so if there's not much of a difference between something I have and something you have, you should just do a swap. Rent-wise ur gonna need to pay regardless.
cause we've also all got responsibilities yknow? cards might be your form of business but that shouldn't necessarily mean every interaction is a transaction.
At the same time though, the mind of a businessman SHOULD be thinking how you are. I'm merely saying conceptually and for general fairness, what I'm saying makes relative sense.
