Listen it’s not true that there is a male loneliness epidemic. It doesn’t even matter IF they lack emotional intimacy in their male friendships (they don’t but in the minority groups that do), because the ones that lack the ability to form deep meaningful relationships don’t even know what they are “missing out” on because they were not socialized that way. You CANNOT teach empathy you can only teach cognitive understanding of empathy. The men who lack empathy are not friends with men who do have strong empathy. They are friends with people just like them. Which is exactly why it never works when dating a woman with empathy because not only is she alone with her man who lacks, she is also up against his group of friends who NEVER check him or encourage him to do and be better. EVER. These people flock together, they are NEVER alone. Aside from patriarchy permeating our government and laws, this also easily explains why women are killed in relationships like this. She has 0 allies. Some women are lucky to have good friends or maybe even a family who cares for her deeply. But those odds are against a lot of women. Therefore THERE IS NO MALE LONELINESS EPIDEMIC. There is however, a female loneliness epidemic. For anyone who wants to know my take on the female loneliness epidemic I am happy to emphasize my points in a separate comment. Thanks for reading.
