@humphreytalks: 5 Things No Longer Worth Your Money…
1. Food Delivery Apps: the prices have become insane. When a burrito can go from $15 to $29 without DashPass or any subscription perk, it’s time to stop. 2. New cars and new car payments. With higher interest rates and longer loan terms, getting a new car is generally not worth it. 3. Concerts - these have gotten exorbitantly expensive. I blame a mix of the pandemic, big tours, scalpers, and the platforms making it excessive. 4 Extended warranties: these have never been a great deal, but I’m staying away from these in 2026. A lot of your credit cards out there will have some sort of protection for your purchases anyway. And 5: Status Spending. Any money spent to show off is not worth it. If you are buying it for yourself, thats one thing - but if you’re buying it to impress others… think again. What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments. #EduTok #TikTokLearningCampaign #LearnOnTikTok

Got a certified preowned Corolla for 24k only 3k miles on it, payments are around 300$ after what I put down, plan on paying 400$ a month to help pay it off early, did I do it right or did I make a bad decision?

Concerts are totally worth it. You are paying for an experience, and most cities will have lots of great venues to catch local and regional acts for reasonable prices.

Agreed on everything but SOME new cars. For example, it makes almost no sense to buy a used newer used Toyota. Some used cars/trucks are going for almost the same price as new. It definitely depends on the brand but something to be aware of.

I would have to agree with everything on this list except for the Best Buy extended warranty pay $200 a year for the Best Buy warranty and all my devices that I buy from there under that warranty until I stop paying on it I’ve had a TV replaced a coffee machine replaced two Xbox controllers and a Sonos sound bar. Four years is $800. The coffee machine alone was $700. So far it’s been a good investment for me maybe not long-term but as of right now it’s been good.

A lightly used $40,000 car (new) is not $30,000 plus the rate is the same if not higher than a dealer financing.

I agreed up until you got to the extended warranty. I bought a lightly used CPO car and got the warranty. Because protecting a car for longer period of time, or atleast until it’s paid off, is a smart idea. Plus it was only $2k spread out over the loan. I spend more in Netflix in the same time frame.

I just saw that Instacart increases the prices of groceries by about 20% plus fees, plus delivery, plus tip, plus subscription potentially
