You have to do the step first. Step on your dominant leg and have your working leg extended behind you. Bend the dominant leg and jump off the ground touching your legs in the air (dominant in front). Land on your dominant leg and close your working leg either in front of or behind your dominant leg. You got this!

What they 👆 said, give yourself a little momentum by stepping into it. Your first leg should be coming up to the other leg in cabriole.
