@amandanighbertrd: Boy did I do it! 😩😩 Post op day one I am currently six weeks out and the recovery has been physically and mentally rough. I have been researching and planning for this procedure for the past two years. I thought I was prepared but clearly I was not. I honestly feel like I saw so many people on social media making it out to be so easy and recovery so fast. That has not been the case for me. My experience might be unique but I wish I had seen more people sharing the raw after. It’s been hard and I am ready to share the hard with you. I am mentally and physically in a better place right now but I still have a lot of healing to do.
