A year ago today I posted this video with zero intentions of it blowing up. I simply was just posting my daily routine of me caring for my mother. Not realizing so many people are going through the same thing and that it was also helping so many people care for their loved one. I am overhwelmed with support and messages and while i dont always reply to them all I genuinely do read them and try to love them at least. I appreciate all the support more than you guys know and I genuinely cant put into words how grateful i am. Watching this back brjngs tears to my eyes as mom has clinically progressed with her dementia, shes not eating as much and she is very emotional, losing her ability to walk as well. But we are doing the best we can, and as caregivers thats all you can do. It helps that my mom is still her smiley happy self when shes with me. 🩷 If there is one thing I get out of this, its that i have helped people practice patience, and even educate the people who dont know what dementia is. To my followers, thankyou and i dont know what i would do without the love and support. 🫶🏼 To my mom, I love you more than life itself. I will take care of you every single day in every single lifetime and i wouldnt change it for the world. The bad days suck, but the good days are good.
