I’m sorry man. One big mistake I see all the time, even from pros, is people pushing rebar straight into the dirt, like you did. Rebar should be fully encased in concrete with proper concrete cover. Otherwise moisture gets in, the steel starts rusting, and before you know it you’ve got concrete spalling
