my grandma told me that during WW2, They couldn't get stockings, so girls would draw the seams with eyeliner on each other's legs, to give the appearance of wearing stockings. this video reminded me of her and that story. thank you! 🥰

I have some of my grandmothers pieces. A Leopard print faux fur 3/4 sleeve top, some hats (1960’s?), gloves, and costume jewelry. She never wore a girdle or corset, she hated them, just bra and slips. She had a few silk ones for fancy occasions and acetate for daily use. None of them were in any condition to keep when she passed, unfortunately.
