bro I drive for a living on all platforms from trucks to busses to heavy equipment. She's not doing anything wrong and might actually be saving the gas and is likely a much more skilled driver then you give her credit for

so what i gathered is. people are actually bad drivers. u don’t have to tap ur accelerator to maintain or speed up, u just hold ur foot in one place. when you go up a hill you push the gas more, when you are coming down from that hill you release the pressure and you drop back down to the speed you were going.

Fun fact by not tapping the break lights when you don’t actually need to slow down significantly you create less traffic.

This is how you have to drive in some areas like dense cities with lots of stop and go traffic. It’s better to feather the gas pedal than tapping the brakes every five seconds. For longer highway driving, sure maintain consistent pressure on the accelerator. But that’s because you’re not stopping or taking turns as often.
