@itadakihealthy: What I ate in Japans best rollercoaster Themepark as a vegan 💚 Hi, I’m vegan nutritionist @itadakihealthy, living in Tokyo for 12 years 💚 How to be vegan in Japan? 👉🏻Grab your copy of “The Ultimate Vegan Guide for Japan!” 142 pages packed with vegan info (last updated March 24th, 2026) 💚 OR just book a vegan shopping tour with me! 😍 💚 Support my work by buying me a virtual coffee! 👉🏻 All links in bio 📍Foodstadium: 👉🏻Now 3 vegan-certified dishes available (T’s tantan collab) in the menu tab “vegan”: Tonkotsu style ramen, Shoju Ramen (soy sauce), Vegetable curry (I tried them all on two different occasions and all of them taste good! Especially the Tonkotsu!) 👉🏻 Baskin Robbins: Orange sorbet (I asked: it doesn’t contain honey, but sugar source is not clear, so potentially only plant-based) 📍 Near Foodstadium outside: 👉🏻 Uji kyubei matcha cafe (宇治久兵衛 抹茶カフェ): Oat milk matcha latte (hot and ice) 👉🏻Fuji Maharadja (Indian): I asked the staff and the veg rolls don’t contain animal derived ingredients (including ghee). 👉🏻Oimo coco: Sweet potato (plain) and Daigaku Imo (Sweet potato bits with sesame and sugar coating - often contains honey, but these ones don’t) 📍 Gegege no kitaro area (near Eenjanaika rollercoaster): 👉🏻Fujiyama dango (富士山団子): Dango with soy glazing (shoyu-tare) and miso & walnut glazing (miso kurumi): I checked the allergen chart and those two don’t seem to contain animal derived ingredients. 👉🏻 Soy and warabimochi drink (豆乳とわらび餅): Choco, Strawberry, Blueberry, Sakura (seasonal) (I checked the allergen chart and those didn't contain obvious animal derived ingredients. Availability depends on season) 📍 Souvenir shop near Eenjanaika Park-exit: 👉🏻Ready made Hoto-pack (doesn’t contain visible animal ingredients) 👉🏻Warabi-mochi What would you eat at Fuji-Q Highland? And more importantly: Which roller coaster would you ride? 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 #vegan #veganjapan #vegantravel #fujiqhighland #rollercoaster

👉🏻About the fried potatoes: Some stalls offer fried potatoes, but these are not vegan. A few even have this clearly written on their signs. 👉🏻Please note that the snacks which are not clearly vegan-label-certified can potentially contain non-vegan sugar (which is processed with bone-car). These foods are also subject of cross-contamination with non-vegan foods. This is my personal grey-zone of foods I can accept while in Japan, but it is up to each individual to decide.
