@drfrank.musmar: In 1945, President Harry #Truman delivered a stern warning to #Japan: With the war in #Europe now over, Truman shifted #America's full military focus to the Pacific. "We are currently engaged in the process of deploying millions of our armed forces against Japan in a massive movement of troops, supplies, and weapons over 14,000 miles." He made it clear that Japan's #industrial cities were being systematically destroyed, and this was only the beginning: "What has already happened to will happen to every Japanese city whose industries feed the Japanese war machine." Truman drew a direct comparison to 's fate, warning that continued resistance would bring the same devastation. However, he stressed that America's goal was not the destruction of the Japanese people: "We have no desire or intention to destroy or enslave the Japanese people, but only surrender can prevent the kind of ruin which they have seen come to Germany as a result of continued useless resistance."

When the world realizes the United States power. The United States will not be angry. The United States knows what it takes to run a proper society. Any proper individual knows this.
