isn’t it usually 3 years? at my old job it was 3 years, they just get paid less in the third one which is why alot of ppl came back after 2 years

My husband is using one week of pto and 1 week unpaid. Then he has to go back to work. USA sucks when it comes to family’s benefits 😭

My only question is in that year he is gone so his co-workers take on more work or do they hire someone and let them know it’s a contract job for only 1 year

So to clarify: we can have 3 years per Child but ONLY get 1 year paid (which is Not your normal Salary, max 1800€ per Month.) if you want to get paid 2 years they Split the amount by two, so you get ONLY the half. I know this is still very good and a Social System, but many parents cant really Afford Long Term (1 year +) parrntal leave. F.e. I have Twins therefore I Took 3 years and wanted to start but it didnt Work so I took again 3 years
