As a girl whose father died before she got married. I asked my soon to be father in law to walk me down the aisle. He was such a good dad. He bought me my Christmas presents. The curling iron I wanted etc. He cried when he saw me on my wedding day. Still miss him.

Lovely. My father died when I was a teen and my one brother walked me down the aisle and my other brother and I did the father/daughter dance. It was so special.
