my hospital made me a single tech w one pharmacist for the whole hospital for several hours and i would still have to make ivs, it was a lot to handle sometimes and i use to work like 8-9 days straight and then 1 day off and back 5 days in a row. it really depends on your hospital, but i did it for 2 years and i went to retail for a lot higher pay. remember some hospital raises are only like a few cents (20-30 cents)…it’s not a really long term job imo
