Say what you will about MGSV and how it’s unfinished, or that Solid Snake or Big Boss are better overall characters, and I’d agree, but there’s something specifically about Venom and his journey through a false world, a false man, a tool being used to further something so much bigger than himself while still trying to hold onto the barest of human emotion, finally knowing his destiny to be BB’s body double and accepting it, accepting his new life, his part in this grand ideology that is so much bigger and yet, simultaneously, so much smaller than the connections he makes with Ocelot, Kaz, Quiet, DD, Code Talker, etc. Fuckin love this game
