I’ve watched this on YouTube many times it is excellent. The SR 71 blackbird was so far ahead of its time. It’s just incredible. What was done in that period of the 60s the Atlas rocket and the SR 71 blackbird done with simple calculators slide rules, pencils, a lot of smart, smart people work on both of those projects.

One SR-71 had a target lock on it, but I believe it was flying on one engine and it was a friendly who did the lock. Sweden maybe? I forget. It was either the Viggen or the Grippen fighter jet that put a lock on it
