Exactly that’s the down side of running models locally, unless they give you access to the number of parameters the model has you wouldn’t know the size it will consume on your phone

So, I downloaded the app from the Play Store, and it is good, I'm not going to lie, but it does not beat LLMs that are connected to the internet. First of all, you need to have a good phone to be able to download the model you want or that is suitable for your phone, and it crazily drains your battery. Bloody hell! People keep on saying it's a useful thing, but I don't think so. Maybe it's useful in places where there is no internet connection, but come on, there's internet everywhere. This stuff is limited; it cannot do a whole lot of things. You can't compare it with an LLM that is connected to the internet. this app will be useful for people in Iran and those other countries where their government cut out their internet.
