I felt empty, I would cry for hours on the floor of our bedroom, I woke up with extreme anxiety, I couldnt sleep properly anymore… It went on and on and on, until I found what actually healed me. First I want you to understand the actual problems. 🧠 Problem 1: Anxiety is a sign your brain got stuck in a loop. Every time you’re thinking negative thought, worrying, replayed worst case scenarios, your brain STRENGHTEN those pathways. This is called Hebbian plasticity (neurons that fire together, wire together). Over time, your brain's default resting state become negative and anxious. 👀 Problem 2: Your life isn’t matching who you actually are Anxiety and depression are a SIGNAL. A loud one. For a lot of us chronic anxiety and depression is signaling that we are living in deep misalignment. Performing a version of ourselves that was built to earn approval, avoid rejection, or meet someone else's idea of success. We are wearing a mask so long, it little by little pull us SO far away from our real Self. You’re pushing harder and harder in a direction that was never truly yours. Working the wrong job. Staying in the wrong relationship. Chasing the wrong goals. That constant inner conflict, between who you are and who you are pretending to be, lead to this emotional state. So how would I solve this again? 1. 🧠 Brain Retraining It works by using neuroplasticity (the brain's ability to change) to interrupt and change the negative loops. Actively creating new positive ones + using pattern interrupt. Every time you catch the anxious thought pattern at the moment it activates and consciously redirect, you weaken the old pathway and build a new one. 2. 🫀 IFS Somatic Therapy It works by helping you find and listen to the parts of yourself that have been buried under the performance. The part that knows this job is wrong. The part that is exhausted from pretending. The part that gave up what it actually wanted a long time ago to stay safe or stay liked. IFS gives you a structured way to stop managing these parts and start actually hearing them, so you can make the real changes that your body has been begging for. These two approaches work on different layers of the same problem. Brain retraining changes the stuck patterns in your brain circuit.
